H E Tackle is a cozy, friendly tackle shop, that specializes in tackle that works for the West Branch of the Delaware. Carrying fly fishing, spinning and ice fishing tackle, as well as fly tying supplies, along with hand carved Duck decoys, freshwater fish and birds of prey. They have recently began carrying snack food items, for those who spend the day on the river, and need a break.

Trout worms are available, and the live bait selection will be expanding shortly. Preserved and artificial baits are on hand, along with hand tied fishing flies.

All the basic needs of the freshwater fisherman are a leisurely minute stroll away from the Public Fishing Area at the Hale Eddy Bridge.

H E Tackle is an Okuma and Stone Creek dealer for fly rods and reels. Other brands you will recognize are Rapala, Storm, Cotton Cordell, Kastmaster, Acme, Uncle Josh, Mike's Atlas, Berkley, Bear Paw, Little Cleo, Orvis, Lindy's Lil Joe, Mepp's, and much, much more.

So, when you are on the West Branch, stop by, and shop and visit. Fishing maps of the area are available, along with other area publications, as well as Licensed fishing guide contact information.

The shop is on the waiting list to sell fishing licenses sometime next year, but will be happy to send you to the closest area merchant or agency until then. And if they don't have an item you may need, H E Tackle believes in sending you to a local merchant who carries it.
