Raft Race

The Lumberjack Festival Raft Race is a unique competition that is fun for all. Sponsored by Buteau’s Economy Auto (Owner Dan Buteau), the race is held on Sunday, July 20th, at 11:00 am with registration taking place at 10:00 am. A $5.00 entry fee is required per raft along with a completed entry form listing everyone on raft. Everyone from the age of 12 and up is welcome and encouraged to join in this special event.

The starting point is the Stilesville bridge and the race ends at the Oak Street bridge in Deposit.

There are two divisions for the Raft Race: 2-person and 4-person with 1st,2nd, and 3rd place prizes given out.
Rules
No alcohol on raft
Each person to wear a life jacket
Raft minimum size 4’x8’
Maximum 2 poles per raft
At least one person on raft when poling through shallow water
If 4 on raft, 2 must stay on raft when poling through shallow water
